New maps, game modes, operators, and guns at the launch of season 3<\/p>\n

The launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2<\/em><\/a> and Warzone 2.0<\/em><\/a> season 3 adds a bunch of new content such as game modes, maps, cosmetics, and more. Expect four new maps added to Modern Warfare 2<\/em>\u2019s multiplayer plus a variety of game modes returning to the weekly playlist rotation. Warzone 2.0<\/em> will receive a new game mode in Massive Resurgence and will see the return of Plunder midseason.<\/p>\n

There is a lot of content dropping at the launch of season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2<\/em> and Warzone 2.0<\/em>, but there is even more to come throughout the season. Continue reading to find out when season 3 will release and what changes to expect.<\/p>\n

What time does Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 season 3 start?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0<\/em> season 3 <\/em>launches on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 <\/strong>at the same time in all regions around the world. Here\u2019s when it will release in your time zone:<\/p>\n

  • \n10 a.m. PDT <\/strong>for the west coast of North America<\/li>\n
  • \n1 p.m. PDT <\/strong>for the east coast of North America<\/li>\n
  • \n6 p.m. BST <\/strong>for the U.K.<\/li>\n
  • \n7 p.m. CEST <\/strong>for western Europe \/ Paris<\/li>\n
  • \n2 a.m. JST <\/strong>on April 13 for Tokyo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A new Battle Pass<\/strong> introducing exclusive operators, weapons, and cosmetics<\/li>\n
    • \nValeria Garza <\/strong>and Alejandro Vargas <\/strong>join the operator roster with the purchase of the Battle Pass.<\/li>\n
    • The FJX Imperium <\/strong>(sniper) and Cronen Squall <\/strong>(battle rifle) can be gained through the Battle Pass at launch.<\/li>\n
    • \nTwo<\/strong> sidearms<\/strong> will be added midseason.<\/li>\n
    • Gather trophies in the Trophy Hunt Event<\/strong>, which begins 48 hours after launch, and exchange them for rewards such as weapon blueprints, vehicles skins, and battle pass token tier skips in the Events<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    • Earn an exclusive set of camos during the Camo Challenge Event <\/strong>coming midseason.<\/li>\n
    • \nBlackCell <\/strong>is a new battle pass offering that replaces the current battle pass bundle.<\/li>\n
    • Earn additional rewards through the Recruit a Friend <\/strong>program.<\/li>\n
    • Unlock Prestige 13<\/strong> (Level 650) and complete new challenges to earn Calling Cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • \nThree new 6v6 maps<\/strong> (Pelayo\u2019s Lighthouse, Black Gold, Alboran Hatchery) and two new battle maps<\/strong> (Rohan Oil and Sattiq Cave Complex).<\/li>\n

        • Grab as much cash as you can in Plunder <\/strong>as it makes its return midseason.<\/li>\n
        • \nBlacksite <\/strong>is the new Gulag in Warzone <\/em>2.0 which is also a Gunfight map in Modern Warfare 2<\/em>.<\/li>\n
        • Travel quickly around the map using Redeploy Drones<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • \nTempered Plate Carriers <\/strong>change your armor into two half-bars instead of three thirds.<\/li>\n
        • Scout your enemies using the UAV Towers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Deploy a Decontamination Station<\/strong>, coming midseason, <\/strong>to create a bubble of safe air in the toxic circle<\/li>\n
        • \nPerk Packages<\/strong>, coming midseason, can be found in Supply Boxes or purchased at Buy Stations.<\/li>\n
        • \nDeployable Buy Stations<\/strong>, coming midseason, are a portable version of the Buy Station with a limited stock.<\/li>\n
        • Have a second chance at life with the Gulag Entry Kit<\/strong>, coming midseason, which lets you enter the Gulag again after you lose your initial Gulag.<\/li>\n
        • Swap items with friendly operators using DMZ\u2019s new Barter System<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Modify Contraband weapons at the workbench<\/strong>, which can be found near Buy Stations, in DMZ <\/strong>at the cost of some cash.<\/li>\n
        • Every player will have access to three Active Duty Operator Slots<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • A new faction, REDACTED<\/strong>, will come in Season 3 with three mission tiers available at launch and two more coming midseason.<\/li>\n
